Moving into a Mirage Returns to Saskatoon Mitsubishi
Your parents probably used to tell you to never get into a car with strangers. But now we have apps where we literally summon a stranger to come to our house so we can get in their car. So really, what do they know?
At 7:00 am on September 13th, four strangers: Richard Brayshaw, Trevor Fiddler, Justin Gavin, and Kimberly Williams entered a new Mitsubishi Mirage for the 2019 Moving into a Mirage Challenge. Together they will be ‘next seat neighbours’ for 7 days.
THE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT.
The contestants will be supplied with food and can only exit the vehicle for scheduled bathroom and grooming breaks. On September 14th the public is invited to Saskatoon Mitsubishi to enjoy local food trucks, play on a bouncy castle and interact with the contestants. Saskatoon Mitsubishi will also host an Import Car Show with music by DJ Chan-L on September 19th from 5:30 – 8:30 pm.
The official ‘Move Out Day’ is September 20th. At 5:00 pm on ‘Move Out Day’, the contestant left in the vehicle will be awarded the 2019 Mitsubishi Mirage. If there is more than one contestant remaining, a ‘top secret’ mystery elimination will determine the final winner.
Evan Thompson, Sales Manager at Saskatoon Mitsubishi says “You know what they say: keep your friends close and your enemies closer. I’m looking forward to seeing all four contestants ‘duke it out’ over the next 7 days.”
Michael Wyant, COO of the Wyant Group adds, “This is one of our most popular contests and we look forward to new and better challenges to test the endurance of our contestants throughout the week. It’s fun and it’s a grind but someone will drive home in a brand-new Mitsubishi! Let the games begin!”
WHAT IS A MITSUBISHI MIRAGE?
The lightweight Mitsubishi Mirage is a compact 4-door hatchback that maximizes performance while offering the most efficient non-hybrid fuel consumption ratings in the industry.
MEET OUR CONTESTANTS.
Sitting in the back driver’s seat is Richard Brayshaw. Richard recently celebrated his 25th wedding anniversary and hopes to win the Mirage as a present to his wife. In the driver’s seat, shop supervisor Justin Gavin, 31, will use his ability to sleep anywhere and everywhere at the drop of a hat to his advantage.
Trevor Fiddler, 36, is in the back-passenger side of the Mirage and plans to stare adoringly into the eyes of his competitors until he’s the only one left. Kimberly Williams, 37, is in the passenger seat. She is taking this time as a mini-vacation and might sleep through the whole ordeal. Live coverage of the four contestants in the Mirage is streaming 24/7 at 96.3 FM.
